As we enter the final months of the 2025/26 season, Lancaster City are looking for people to join our media team to help us with our Social Media content, on a volunteer basis.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Media and Communications and the rest of the Media Team to support and produce match-related content across our platforms.

You’ll help with:

Matchday
• Match Commentary on Mixlr
• Providing Matchday updates on Facebook, Instagram, X, BlueSky and TikTok
• Writing match reports for our website

When: Matchdays (Tuesdays and Saturdays, home and away)

Non-matchday
There are also opportunities to edit of Match Highlights, for both YouTube and TikTok and attending training to produce content for all our platforms.

These volunteer roles are ideal for someone studying media, journalism or football media, with a good understanding of social media and football, and the confidence to work on their own initiative.

due to nature of the work involved and potential travel required, these roles are for people 16 years or older.
