Solent Spitfires Head Coach was once again back with the South Regional squad after a 6 year wait appointed as an Assistant Coach with responsibility for Attacking Structure.

The last outing was in 2019 in Neath where the squad lost out to Wales 26-20 in a close encounter.

This year the squad started with a defeat 24-16 to a strong ANZAC side in London which laid the platform for a better performance once again in Neath where the South went on to beat Wales 30-16.

The program was a huge success and hopefully the RFL can build upon this with another South Regional Squad in 2026.
