It was with great disappointment that we have learnt of the passing of former local footballer and Author of two very interesting books about local football here in North Devon, Tommy Waters

Tommy had reached the ripe old age of 90 years, and had been a regular spectator and supporter of the team here at the Sports Ground for as long as he could remember, as well as at his home side Appledore, for whom he played in his younger years.

Tommy had been regularly assisted in his visits to the Sports ground by Mr Bell.

Rest in peace Tommy you will be really missed!!
