A great display from #SapperPower yesterday at #LawsonCup 2 at Royal Wootton Bassett. The preparation has been difficult with the absence through injury of manager Mark Jock McLay (get well soon) and half of the squad on the fantastic looking Sapperrugby tour of USA, but thankfully Mike Thompson and his team managed to adapt & overcome to put out a motivated and well drilled squad.

The game was in the balance throughout but eventually (4 mins to go) the Sappers edged ahead and took the tie. The game was a perfect example of why RL is the #GreatestGame (and even had a touch of old school 'biff').
