Going in at half-time 2-1 down The Storks rallied to bring it back level only to go down to two goals in the latter part of the match.
There were again good signs of progress as Stu Saunders' young charges continue to adapt to Cheshire League Division One.
With the whole squad contributing and playing well the goals came from Billinge stalwart Richie Allen and Finlay Charles.
Charles had an excellent game scoring and assisting and was awarded the coaches' man-of-the-match while the opposition picked out Zak Saunders as their MOM for another combatative performance.
This Saturday the first team travel to Knutsford for a 2pm kick-off.
The reserves who also went down to a 4-2 defeat against top-of-the-table Winsford Town Reserves. The Storks goals came from Aiden Byron and Sam Ward.
This Saturday is a blank weekend for the ressies but they are back in action on Saturday 27 September when Haydock Reserves visit Sutton Leisure Centre.
