The Mitres put in a valiant performance against playoff-challenging Winchester, which saw Ross Langworthy at the double as Cleeve pushed for a late comeback to come out as the 2-1 victors on the day.
Cleeve are now back in the playoffs, two points above Shaftesbury, thanks to the Rockies fixture against Tavistock being postponed, and they are equal on points with Saturday's visitors.
Focus turns to the cup this Tuesday, as the Mitres will be hoping to make the final this year, as last year saw heartbreak against Bristol Manor Farm at the GFA Headquarters.
Cheltenham Town Reserves are on their way, with the Robins winning 2-0 against Hartpury for the opportunity to get to the final. The two sides have met previously in the competition, the Mitres winning the shootout 5-3 after a 2-2 draw in normal time in 2014 the most recent clash.
The winner of the match will take on either Yate Town or Forest Green, the second semi-final scheduled for the tenth of March.
Cleeve’s journey has seen them defeat Fairford Town and then Bristol Rovers Development on penalties.
The fixture was originally meant to be played at the EV Charger Point Stadium, but the tie was reversed with Cleeve taking home advantage.
Cheltenham and Bishops Cleeve's first teams played each other in pre-season, the Robins coming out with a 4-1 victory.
